Well I have been discussing with someone about this Res, we are fine to have a try at providing Icon.

Two Res forms : True Form (Red tubes look, gain abosrb ability.) and Kaien Form (gain Kaien Shikai techniques/boost).

True Form :

x 2 Health
x 2 Reiatsu
Gain Abosrb : Abosrb 1/4 of your damage, cooldown of 20 seconds.

Kaien Form :

x 2 Attack
x 2 Defense.
Water strike - 3 tile attack

I think this is fair, and you also can't use 2 res at once, have to deactivate the other to turn on the other?

Maybe absorb can also let you use the move that you just absorbed?

Howww about this.

It has the true form which is what you said, but it has a 2x str, def, and rei boost. And absorb deals damage based on your rei, and when it attacks it heals 1/6 to health, and 1/4 of damage to rei. Absorb would hit they are right infront of you, and they could have a grab attack that shoots out like Luppi, and drags them to you doing damage based on your str.
